"What the heart does not feel, the eye can never see..." - P. Sainath Bart Aldrich takes inspiration from a wide range of visual sources and creates lasting images noted for their vibrant colors and intimate details.
While living in Hong Kong in the 90's and on subsequent visits Bart's interest in photography evolved into much more than a hobby. By 1998 he had visited more than a dozen southeast Asian countries. Working exclusively with film he honed his eye for the heart of a location and it's native people.
After his return from Asia he lived in downtown San Diego for seven years until moving to the Palm Springs area in 2003.
A Bold New Look! Many of Bart's images are mounted on custom wood frames encased in polyurethane epoxy or brushed metals sealed in acrylic or laminate. These unique and unusual framing styles achieve a bold new aesthetic and stunning presentation for Bart's images. See
